Description: The emergence of generative artificial intelligence challenges long-standing assumptions about language, authorship, agency, and learning. The presentation explores how humans, algorithms, and sociotechnical environments increasingly co-produce language practices. Rather than asking only how meaning is interpreted, the lecture asks how algorithmic systems participate in reading, interpreting, and producing meaning and thus invites educators to critically examine whose perspectives, values, and assumptions become amplified in these processes and how they shape possible human futures.
