Description: Artificial intelligence is transforming language teacher education by reshaping how knowledge, meaning, and pedagogical decisions are produced. This lecture examines how educators can critically engage with AI-mediated educational ecologies by questioning both how language is taught and how meaning is increasingly co-produced by humans and algorithms. It argues that teacher education must make visible the sociotechnical and affective dimensions of these practices, fostering ethical judgment, critical reflection, and relational responsibility in language education.
