Description: New to teaching? No worries, we got you! This collaborative professional learning series is designed to help TAs and GAs adjust to life in the classroom and build confidence. We’ll share ideas, strategies, and tips for bringing engagement, energy, and joy into your classes.
Each session will focus on a topic relevant to language teaching giving TAs & GAs space to try out new ideas, share experiences, discover tech tools, and connect with colleagues from across language departments. You’ll walk away feeling ready for Monday!
This series welcomes GAs who teach any language and at any level. Faculty members and others across CALL who are interested in language teaching or who support graduate student instructors are also welcome.
Note: For an optimal experience, participants should bring a computer device (laptop or tablet) to participate in these hands-on sessions.
