During the fourth session:
Creating a Personal Learning Network (PLN):
- Introduce the concept of a Personal Learning Network.
- Demonstrate the PLN Tool Browser.
- Introduce the ECML’s Inventory of ICT Tools and OERs for language learning and teaching.
Using Creative Commons content:
- Discuss Creative Commons License (CC); CC License vs Fair Use vs Classroom Use
- Search for CC image materials (Creative Commons Search, Flickr, Morguefile, Pexels, Photos for Class).
- Discuss how to cite resources.
- Demonstrate Attribution Builder.

Hands-on activities:
- Adding external web content to Laulima (embedding and linking).
- Adding and removing apps in Google Drive.
- Options for making a screen capture, annotating images (Skitch, Snipping Tool for Windows, and Preview for iOS), and editing images (Pixlr).
- In your Laulima course, take a screenshot of your Laulima homepage and annotate the screenshot (e.g., by using Skitch or Preview). Next, in your Google site, create a new page (e.g., titled “Screenshot”) and insert the annotated screenshot (see this step-by-step tutorial).
- Create a brief tutorial with at least 3 screenshots on any topic. Next, in your Google Site, create a new webpage called “Tutorial” and insert your tutorial there.
