Description: Offered by the Center for Language & Technology, this professional development series introduces faculty and graduate students in the College of Arts, Languages & Letters (CALL) to core instructional design principles for language and culture courses. Participants will acquire practical skills and tools to design interactive learning experiences that elevate student engagement.
Designed primarily for language instructors, this year’s series consists of two in-person, 1-hour sessions focused on Brightspace (Lamakū) features that can be used to enhance interaction. Across the two workshops, participants will explore a number of features and learn how to build engaging, dynamic, interactive activities into their existing course materials.
Note: These are hands-on sessions. Participants should either bring a laptop or request one from CLT.
