Cultural Dimensions in Online Learning (CDOL)
is a short course on cultural & intercultural considerations when teaching with digital technologies in higher education, whether in face-to-face, blended or online mode. The course is offered in collaboration with multiple universities. During the six weeks of this short course, participants will read and watch curated resources and engage in brief, interactive activities. Every week there will be a synchronous session, which will be recorded for those in time zones different from the time zone of the host universities. One of the key purposes of this professional learning opportunity is to provide an opportunity to UHM participants to interact with international colleagues on topics of common interest, share insights, practices, concerns, and consider future practice.
