The CLT follows the UH Mānoa COVID-19 guidelines, which apply to all operations and activities on campuses and at off-site facilities and cover all students, employees and visitors. These policies are subject to change.
UH Mānoa COVID-19 guidelines:
- The UH Mānoa campus has returned to full capacity for operations, effective January 2022. View the capacity of CLT facilities.
- Face coverings are required indoors across the University of Hawaiʻi System, except when working alone or separated from others by 6 feet or more.
All guidelines above apply to the use of CLT facilities. In order to comply with university regulations, the CLT will require the following protocol:
- The use of CLT facilities is only available through reservations.
- Entry to the computer labs is restricted to UHM students and faculty who have active, valid UH user accounts.
- Computer lab patrons are required to sanitize their hands before entering the facilities.
- Computer lab patrons should bring and wear their personal USB headset (with microphone, if needed).

Project Development Lab (PDL) – Moore Hall 155B
- The mission of the Project Development Lab (Moore Hall 155B) is to assist faculty in integrating technology into their teaching. Through consultation, training, and support, staff enables faculty to enrich their course delivery through technology-enhanced instruction. The Project Development Lab is open to faculty and staff of the College of Arts, Languages, and Letters (CALL) on a reservation basis. The lab is not a student facility, but students working with faculty members can be authorized to use the lab as project assistants. The philosophy of the lab is to train faculty to use tools and then provide assistance if help is needed.

On the Diamond Head facing side, an area for film viewing has been set with a Blu-ray DVD player, 7.1 sound and 11′ (wide) screen.

- The One Button Studio (OBS) is a simplified video recording setup designed to be easy to use without any prior video production knowledge. Located in Moore Hall 160, the studio is available to all Department of Languages, Linguistics & Literature faculty, staff and students. No prior experience required.

- The CLT’s Learner & User Xperience (LUX) Lab is designed to accommodate research projects by faculty and graduate students in the College of Arts, Languages, and Letters (CALL) that require one-on-one interaction between a researcher/instructor and a participant/student.
