CLT Classroom, hosted by the Center for Language & Technology (CLT), is a learning management system (LMS) that is intended as an incubator for innovative online and blended-learning courses in the College of Languages, Linguistics & Literature.
CLT Classroom features affordances that enhance its usability for language teaching and learning. For online or blended-learning instructors wishing to experiment with features not currently offered through the university supported LMS (Laulima), CLT Classroom may represent a sensible option.
CLT Classroom is built on the Moodle platform. Moodle is an open-source, adaptable learning management system. CLT Classroom replaces BRIX, which was built using ColdFusion.
