The mission of the Project Development Lab (Moore Hall 155B) is to assist faculty in integrating technology into their teaching. Through consultation, training, and support, staff enables faculty to enrich their course delivery through technology-enhanced instruction. The Project Development Lab is open to faculty and staff of the college on a walk-in basis. The lab is not a student facility, but students working with faculty members can be authorized to use the lab as project assistants. The philosophy of the lab is to train faculty to use tools and then provide assistance if help is needed.

Moore 258 is a multi-purpose room that can be used for a variety of media presentations.  On the west facing side, it is configured for classroom teaching with a computer (Windows 10) & VHS player.  On the east facing side, an area for film viewing has been set with a Blu-ray DVD player, 7.1 sound and 11' (wide) screen.

Special Purpose Rooms

The One Button Studio (OBS) is a simplified video recording setup designed to be easy to use without any prior video production knowledge. Located in Moore Hall 160, the studio is available to all Department of Languages, Linguistics & Literature faculty, staff and students. No prior experience required.

  • If you have booked a session in the OBS (Moore Hall 160), the door should be unlocked at your scheduled time of arrival. If locked, please knock on MH 161 for room access.

The CLT’s Learner & User Xperience (LUX) Lab is designed to accommodate research projects by faculty and graduate students in the College of Languages, Linguistics, and Literature (LLL) that require one-on-one interaction between a researcher/instructor and a participant/student. Priority to reserve and use the LUX Lab will be given with the consideration of the purpose for which the lab is requested. Learn more
